Bootcut has a very slight flare at the bottom, and gives you enough room to wear boots underneat (hence the name). They're not as dramatic as a bellbottom, but they're more flared than a straight legged jean. They're the most flattering, in my opinion. They fit close to the thigh and flare slightly from the knee down. Low rise boot will simply be a bootcut with a lower waist. It'll likely sit between the pubic bone and belly button.
